We purchased a Shark Duo Clean in Dec 2020, a few days ago it stopped picking up with the floor nozzle, I retrieved my owners manual and started troubleshooting, made sure every part of the vacuum was not blocked and clean, it still would not work, the manual instructed to call customer service and I connected to a representative who had me set up a video chat, first thing she says to me rather rudely and almost triumphant, Your warranty is voided!! apparently when you follow the troubleshooting instructions by removing the bottom plate of the floor nozzle you void your warranty, after I admit I got a little upset she offered to send me a new floor nozzle for 1/2 price. I then asked to speak with a supervisor I was told none was available (big surprise) I then asked for her name she promptly hung up on me.
User's recommendation: Stay away from shark vacuums.
Monetary Loss: $60.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
Shark Pros: Lightweight, I love shark products as long as they r working.
Shark Cons: Product support nonexistent, Appaling customer service.
